Welcome to Lunora. By downloading, installing, or using the Lunora application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Lunora, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Lunora is a mobile application designed for Muslim women that provides the following features:
- Prayer times based on your selected location
- Quran reading and browsing
- Daily duas and dhikr
- Period tracking with mood and symptom logging
- Gratitude journal
- Ramadan-specific tools and content
3. Personal Spiritual Guidance
Important: Lunora is designed as a personal spiritual aid and informational tool. The App is not a substitute for qualified religious authority, scholarly guidance, or professional medical advice. Users should consult qualified Islamic scholars for religious rulings and healthcare professionals for medical concerns.
The Quran text, prayer times, and duas provided in the App are sourced from widely accepted and reputable sources. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy of prayer time calculations for every location and recommend verifying with local mosque timings when possible.
4. User Responsibility
By using Lunora, you agree that:
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the location information you provide for prayer time calculations
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, as all app data is stored locally
- You will use the App in a manner consistent with its intended purpose
- You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
- You will not use the App for any unlawful purpose
5. Health Information Disclaimer
The Period Mode feature in Lunora is a personal tracking tool. It is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The mood and symptom tracking features are for personal reference only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns.
6. Intellectual Property
The Lunora name, logo, design, and original content are the intellectual property of Studio Lunora. Quranic text is in the public domain. Third-party content used in the App is credited accordingly. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without express written permission.
7. Lunora+ Subscription
Lunora offers an optional premium subscription called "Lunora+" that provides access to additional features including premium muezzin voices, spiritual coach program, period guide, and advanced discovery content.
Subscription Plans:
- Monthly: $2.99 USD per month
- Yearly: $19.99 USD per year ($1.67/month)
Free Trial:
Both subscription plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
Auto-Renewal:
Lunora+ subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID or Google Play account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation:
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Lunora+ features until the end of your paid period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.
Price Changes:
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified of any price changes in advance, and changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period.
Managing Your Subscription:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Lunora
- Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Lunora
8. Tip Jar & One-Time Purchases
Lunora offers optional one-time purchases ("Tip Jar") to support the development of the app. Tips are non-refundable consumable purchases processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Tips do not unlock any additional features.
9. No Warranty
Lunora is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of prayer times or any content
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Compatibility with all devices or operating system versions
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Studio Lunora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data stored on your device
- Inaccurate prayer time calculations
- Any decisions made based on information provided by the App
- Inability to access or use the App
11. Data Loss
Since all data is stored locally on your device, Studio Lunora is not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, app uninstallation, operating system updates, or any other cause. You are encouraged to note down any important information outside the App.
12. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party APIs (Aladhan API for prayer times, CountryStateCity API for location data). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these third-party services. These services have their own terms and privacy policies.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Your continued use of Lunora after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
14. Termination
You may stop using Lunora at any time by uninstalling the App. We reserve the right to discontinue the App or any feature at any time without notice.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
